The 10th annual ARMTech Showcase of Industry and Technology was held on August 13th – 15th, 2008. 

Each year, the Armstrong County Board of Commissioners and the Armstrong County Industrial Development Council (IDC) host the event at the Belmont Complex, located in Kittanning, PA.  The three-day Showcase featured exhibits from across the country, which allowed regional businesses and organizations to build relationships with respected industry professionals. 

Exhibitors from the fields of electro-optics, advanced manufacturing, medical research, aerospace and defense contracting joined U.S. Rep. John Murtha at the Showcase.  The ARMTech Showcase is part of the Armstrong County Regional Manufacturing Initiative.  The Initiative’s goals include promoting industry recruitment, workforce development and establishing local supplier relationships with Armstrong County and the surrounding region.
