Marriage licenses are available for purchase from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Register and Recorder office. Requirements are as follows:
- Both applicants must apply together
- Photo identification
- Social Security numbers
- Copies of ALL divorce decree(s) (Not just most recent)
- Copies of Death Certificate(s), if previous marriage(s) ended by spouse passing away
- Birth places of applicants & also applicants parent's birth places
- $66.00 (cash only)
There is a 3 day waiting period starting the day applicants apply & licenses expire 60 days after. If all required information is supplied, applicants may take the license with them the same day. For more information, feel free to call (724) 548-3256.
